Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Jessica Reid @Jessica__Reid

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am Jessica Reid, 18 years of age from Galway. I’m 5’2 and a size 6. I am currently working in Next clothes store but have aspirations to set up my own childrens entertainment business. I love caring for children and I love the Disney franchise.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love fitness, fashion, music, family and pets. My favourite brands are Pink Soda, Jack Wills, Adidas, Mac, Inglot and Urban Decay. My instagram consists of everything from selfies, to old family pictures, pictures of my various pets and of my newborn cousins.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram was originally jessie_reidy but after a lot of questioning about whether my second name was Reid or Reidy I had to change it, but Jessica_Reid was unavailable so I had to put 2 underscores and make it Jessica__Reid

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use layout and instagram for my editing. I decide if i want a single or double photo and then I edit it in layout. When i go to instagram I often adjust the brightness and highlights first and decide which filter I want.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love Selena Gomez and her instagram. But Jen Selter also inspires me with her fitness regimes on instagram, I love watching her new fitness inspos or the products she uses.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

If I was to suggest one thing to my instagram followers it would be protein, it is good for everything from muscle to skin and nails.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love the opportunity to promote products which could potentially boost peoples confidence and that is the main aim of my campaign, to be happy with what you have and enhance your experiences.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I will never accept to promote anything unless I believe in the brand and my followers know I will never promote something I do not believe in.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Everything you post must be your own picture and your own opinion otherwise you are liable for stolen property.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like the opportunity to explore new brands and new products, it is intriguing and a new experience.
