Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Jeneva Edwards’s @makeupbyzoya1

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am Jeneva Zoya Edwards and I’m from Trinidad, a small country located in the Caribbean. I am a self taught Makeup Artist and Edutcator, but internationally certified by Mrs Buntricia Bastian.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest to learn more about the makeup industry, meet other makeup gurus, learn about the different products and brands, how to properly market my brand, the pros and cons to be a successful instagram user. I post photos exhibiting makeup done by myself on myself mostly and of my clients and students.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My middle name is Zoya and it’s known and frequently used by my family, friends and society, and my passion is makeup so I came up with “Makeup By Zoya”.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use MoreBeaute2 to soften my pictures then photo editor sometimes to lower the brightness especially when my pics looks washed it and in person it’s very vibrant.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There are many that amazes me such as Makeupbymario (KimK MUA), Lucinda212, Dressyourface, Colorblockingqueen_pinky, Angel_Cumberbatch, Doyouevenblend, Lupe_mua, mrs_akeva

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Enrolling in your organization, I am hoping your company will help me to help my brand grow.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

To help others become successful influencers like myself, I believe you would help me too and others like you always do.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

To keep posting your your work or brand, make sure your post are clear, post things that will catch the eye, don’t ever give up. Makeup to watermark your post or creat a logo.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Like I said to the question above watermark your work, keep posting. Get inspired and inspire others.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Knowing that you are recognized by them, getting free products, getting featured on their pages, makes you feel accomplished but you know it’s just the beginning.
