Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Jen & Carrie Beth @TheMagnoliaMamas

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

We are best friends that live in the sunny south. Between the two of us we have six children, and shockingly we thrive in the fun chaos that comes with that many children.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

We place our own southern vibe on everything we create: fashion, home decor, DIY, travel, and food.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

We knew we wanted something southern inspired and since we are located in Atlanta and the state tree is the Magnolia we knew it was perfect.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

For the most part we just try to take really good photos out of camera – as a former photographer, we’ve learned to understand light. If anything needs a quick adjustment we edit with the photoshop app.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

That’s tough, there are so many great ones. We love Mix & Match Mama, Fancy Ashley, Honey We’re Home.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Our Orange Dreamsicle cocktail. It was the inspiration for the blog.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Meeting new people and learning about little corners of life we might not have known before.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Try to give the influencer as much freedom as possible. It lets them be more creative and speak with more authenticity.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

No one likes seeing the same thing over and over again. The more you try to stay yourself the more unique your content will be. People appreciate that.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Learning about products we might not have been introduced to on our own. The market has so many great items, you almost get overwhelmed. It’s fun and creative way to partner with prodocts and companies you love.
