Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Janine Abellanosa @janineabellanosa

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi I am Janine Abellanosa, an aspiring fashion blogger/influencer and currently residing in the pearl of the orient, Philippines! As an amateur blogger, I love playing with pieces of fashion, clothes and create my own style. I’m very sensitive too when it comes to photos to make sure I take them nicely and perfect. Aside from blogging about fashion and ootd’s, I also made a blog for my poems which became a big part of me because those poems are writings from my heart. Whenever I feel sad, I write. Whenever I’m happy, I write. It’s my outlet and escape. And lastly, aside from being a blogger, I am an athlete. I am a volleyball player who loves to be inside the court and play with my heart out.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest are mostly on fashion. I’ve been following lots of bloggers and make them my inspiration whenever I post something. I gather ideas from them, admire their feeds and aspire to make fashionable contents in my every instagram photo.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Janine Abellanosa

My instagram name is actually my full name and I chose it to be that way to have originality and for people to know the real me, and not just someone behind a random username.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I am for a very clean and a bit monochromatic feed for everything to appear appealing and clean. With that theme, I mostly use “facetune” which is to whiten the whites and adjust highlights of the photo, “snapseed” to brighten up certain dark spots, “nebi” which I use sometimes to put grains on my photo , “lightroom” to adjust the colors without ruining the scenery, and lastly “vsco cam” because they have lots of nice filters but my favorite is HB2.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I have LOTS of instagrammers that I like. A few of them are Laureen Uy, Camille Co and a few local bloggers like Ira Denise Oyco and Faye Balogo. Their feeds are super bomb and goals!! 🙂

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

If there’s one thing that my fellow instagrammers just gotta try now, it’s going to be BYS’ peach eyeshadow palette!! I know it might sound a bit exaggerated but every color inside that palette is a bomb!! The colors fit every skin color and most importantly it is very handy and can always be your go-to-make up !!!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part of being an influencer is to be able to inspire other people while I aspire to be a better person and be able to make acquaintances from being an influencer. I believe that being one , is nothing without its connection to other people.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

You know what they always say, “originality is the key”. In running a campaign, you have to make sure that you run it uniquely and genuinely. Create a concept wherein you can call it “your idea & your style”. You should also be able to reach lots of people to make the campaign a success. Connection is very important in every campaign.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Just be you because everyone else is taken. Work uniquely and never forget to strive to become better each and every day.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The most important thing about partnering with brands is that you get a first hand look on their products and on top of that you’ll have new acquaintances and friends who shares the same sentiment as you on that certain brand because of the partnership that took place.
