1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am Iswarya, 25 years young. I am a big makeup,beauty,fashion related addict and a shopaholic.I am a graduate in visual communication. I hail from the God’s own country Kerala (Palakkad). I am currently working in SBI, SAM Branch, Coimbatore as Assistant Banker.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I write about the things I liked, the things I’d purchased & other opinions and my adventures on products in general. I blog about all cute things that are girly.I spend most of my time checking out things I can’t afford, buying beauty products, subscription boxes, playing with makeup etc

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Iswarya is my name and IAG ( I Am Girly) is my blog name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Canon P600 Point and Shoot camera. The image editing softwares that I use mostly are Picasa, Photoshop and Picmonkey Online Editor. Sometimes I use Gimp, Paint and Mobile apps like PicsArt even.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like @aakriti_lachicaloca !! I love her work be it photos, her style, her posts and hauls. She inspires me a lot 🙂

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I like to share my thoughts and experiences. I love to connect with different people and it’s my favorite part about being an influencer. I also love coming up with creative content. Blogging also gives me an opportunity to improve my communication skills.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Learn key social media strategies. Set the goals and connect with right people. Decide which marketing channels/social media to focus on. Use your budget wisely. Engage and try to reach a wider audience. Measure and analyze your results. See what can be improved next time.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Content quality is important. Originality must also be there. It helps to increase traffic and gives readers a reason to revisit to your site. Just remember one thing, Content Is King! You need high quality content to rank in Google. It’s the basis for success. Add your own opinions. Dont try to copy. Don’t just re-write.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Working with great brands helps me establish credibility. It gives me fresh ideas. It also introduce my blog to new sets of potential readers. I gain new projects and more exposure.
