Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Isa Pratas @thecandourcabin

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Isa, I live in Portugal, Oporto most precisely, a beautiful city by the Dour’s river bank. I work as a Spa therapist and wellness area.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My interest are very versatile, I love beauty, wellbeing, literature, nature, home decor, stationeries, tea. My instagram account has a nostalgic and retro mood. Is an inventarium of moments, and it’s way to remember you that life is worth and made of small moments and little things.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Houses are our shelters, I waned a name that sounded like it so I thought of a cabin, that is more rustic and close to nature and the name of candour because this account is about showing you what life has the best, even in the ruff moments.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use sometimes afterlight, the instagram app to edit too and vsco or nothing at all. Sometimes I just work a bit with the basic elements of the photo like light, contrast, saturation. My goal is always to use the less edition tools possible.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I like several ones like Rachel Nguyen, Tamira Jarrel, Daughter of the woods and etc.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Beauty products and tea, its always very relaxing to spend some time on you.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Meet new people, learn new things, try new brands, get inspiration from other instagrammers too. I think Instagram opened a new world os possibilities in nowadays.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Choose the instragrammer that have the content similar to the brand concept, let the instagrammer be creative the way will share or promote the brand. I maintain my authenticity by being natural, kind, and open minded.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I think we must be authentic, genuine on the content that we are sharing, use our creativity and be positive.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love to try new products and share opinions. I think is a very effective way to help other to understand if a product is really worth of trying. Instragrammers found it more personal and your opinion is more credible too, in my point of view.
