1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a TV anchor and a fashion enthusiast. I write & recite hindi poetry too.
Style & lifestyle us what I carry along with my personality.
I can create engaging videos for fashion, lifestyle, beauty, travel, women issues, mental health, politics, entertainment.
Am comfortable with English, Hindi & Punjabi languages.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Mostly I post about fashion, women clothing, beauty or makeup, poetry, short stories, mental health, health.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I am a journalist, so I needed a social platform to connect with youth as FB demographics has changed a lot with years.
Twitter has a niche audience. So I started using insta more actively with my official name only as people know me by my name only.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Canva, photoshop are the preferred apps for photo editing.
Other than that I use Q Edit & FCP to edit videos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I follow Samidha Singh & Ashna shroff, both the fashion bloggers.
Apart from these two, I like the style of Kamiya jani, a travel blogger.
The most inspiring for me is the couple if flying beast- Gaurav Bhatia & wife ritu whom I haf interviewed too.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love to connect with people, to engage with them.
I like sharing my experience of fashion, style that I learnt during news anchoring.
Personal experience connects with people.
It’s an instant appreciation or criticism driven platform.
The comments & analytics tell how much engaging content it is.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I have just registered with you. I would like to explore it more & be a crucial part of it.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

My personal experience of how to look in front of camera & off camera along with latest updates about news is an added feather in my basket.
I can produce engaging videos.
I know what copyright means, so content is original.
Although I hv a small fan base but they are loyal followers.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Content works only id it’s original, in your own style, simple, short & crispy and most importantly engaging.
Please be clear about facts and be correct as followers trust you. For health topics especially, need to double check before sharing.
Picture quality & lighting needs to be good.
It’s a personal platform, so share a story that you believe in.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Honestly speaking, the brands give us platform & we also provide them marketing to the ground level.
I like interacting with various brands. If they pay well it’s worthy connecting them.
I wanna be brand ambassador of a big brand.
