Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Gloria Lopez @Makeupbygloww

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Currently I am employed full time as a supervisor for a big eye doctor practice. I also am a full time freelancer and beauty content creator. I am from queens and live in Long Island NY.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest are of course beauty! I have also loved the art of makeup since I was 12. I mostly post makeup looks, giveaways and mini Instagram beauty tutorials.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My name is Gloria so I thought Gloww would be the perfect name for my page it has the first three letters of my name with a little twist.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I love using VSCO and FaceTune. I’ll first take the perfect picture, tweak it a little bit with FaceTune (not to much) I’ll smooth out any blemishes and enhance my eye makeup. I then edit it in VSCO

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love Desi Perkins, Lustrelux, Nicole Guerriero, PatrickStarrr and so many more. The instagrammer that inspire me the most are Desi Perkins and Amrezy.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

They MUST try the Best Damn Beauty, Beauty oil not only does it hydrate your skin but it evens out your skin tone. I like to apply it to my beauty blender and then apply my foundation.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part is inspiring others to be themselves, to follow their dreams/passions and to not let any negativity get in their way.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Working with ALL influencers is one tip I have for brands. Not choosing influencers by the amount of followers they have but choosing them by how amazing they’re work is. I notice that a lot of brands only work with creators that have millions of followers but deny influencers that have a couple thousand followers.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and original content is important but also just being yourself. Don’t try to be someone they’re not. Create your own original content and be proud of it

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love trying out their products and being able to review them. I love working with brands that really believe in me.
