Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Gaganpreet Singh @gagzofficial_

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Gaganpreet Singh Ragi, I am 18 years old and I am working as a graphic designer. My aim is to go to university where I will study Business. I come from the UK.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

my interest towards fashion is very strong and anyone can tell from looking at my Instagram page as I post alot of pictures of myself wearing different outfits. I also have a strong interest towards marketing, IT and technology as I feel that they are my strengths.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Well when I was thinking about what instagram to have I started looking at other fashion bloggers instagram names and tried to integrate my name within them. I noticed a couple of accounts had the the word “Official” so I took my nickname which is Gagz and put it together to form Gagzofficial.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

There are 2 apps which i use to edit my photos, one is No crop. No crop allows me to post landscape photos without cropping out anything and I find it very useful. The second app which I use is Snapseed, snapseed is very useful as it allows me to control the exposure and the colors of the image also it is widely used by fashion bloggers.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

The two main accounts I look at are menwithstreetstyle and menwithclass. these two accounts have some really good images and they give you alot of ideas on what items you can piece together. I also look at blakescott and iamgalla. they both have a really good taste in fashion and I can get good ideas from looking at these accounts.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Instagress if the thing I would say that my instagrammers should try. The people who are looking to get more exposure and followers should use instagress. It works by you telling it which instagrammers followers to follow and it is also a auto liker, commenter, follower and unfollower

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part of being an influencer is when i create a reaction from my followers and when I influence others to make a change.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

My top tips to brands running campaigns are to run lengthier campaigns so that everyone that wants to be part of it has the opportunity. I have come across campaigns which I wanted to be part of but they had closed within a short amount of time. also offering things to the bloggers involved would get them to buy more from the brand.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

quality is the most important thing when posting content. you can have over 2000 posts but if they are not good quality no one would want to like it and they would not want to come back to see more posts. Good quality images are the ones that attract more likes and eventually you will get more followers. keeping an image original and not overdoing the editing part looks much more better because you do not want to give a false image.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The thing I like best about partnering with brands is firstly being chosen and to be able to experience what the brand has to offer for example, if the brand has good quality clothing that will make me want to buy from that brand.
