1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I was born and raised in northern of malaysia. 20 years of age, currently looking for a decent job, just finished my diploma in communication and media studies. I spend most of my time online like IG, reviewing comments on movies that i like, youtube, watching asian drama series on the net, learning thai language because thailand is my favourite country to travel and playing games. My hobbies decorating my room, pimping my iPhone, writing, shopping online and singing, recently i got featured in a television for doing a cover song that i posted on my IG. I am also a colorguard in a band.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
I am most interested in fashion, music, technology and travelling. Therefore i only posted whenever i did a photoshoot, places that i travelled to and a video of me singing.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
Aandodoi is my alter ego and the person that i wanted people to know me as a public figure. Though ‘Aan’ has always been my nickname since i was little, using it on IG will make people recognise me even better. As for ‘dodoi’ i got it from a friend and i like it very much, and so ‘Aandodoi’ was born when i registered Instagram.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
For editing on my iPhone, i used VSCO, Pixlr and Facetune. For effects and echancement i used VSCO, Pixlr for heavy effects and collages, while Facetune for twitching my photos to make my face and body look great.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
I would have to say Connor Franta, because his effects and photos are very beautiful. He’s one of the reason why i use VSCO app to edit my photos.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
Since i like decorating my room a lot, i would have to say they have to try and re-decorate their room! Because one thing that most of the people cannot have is what they do not do, so try!
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
My favorite part is that i get to show many sides of the things that i like and places that i go to. Making people happy is one of the best feelings, especially when you get to do that while doing things that i like. Influence people to do good and promote goodness that changes life.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
My tips would be bringing the brands to the public and the people who would really support it. This is because to make sure that the campaign is a success to the target audience and never falter form its cause. Using social medias to the fullest and public figures and creators help.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
I think that being original is very hard because many products came with that but still have a strong competition and what not, therefore the quality has to be better than the rest in order to make it different from the rest. Most importantly promoting the brand in a creative way!
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
Simple, free stuffs and gifts. Expose about the new products and putting a lot of efforts and ideas to help the brand reaching its goals.
