Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Eva Balasoiu @evasplace30

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Feels weird to start like that, but…Hey! My name is Eva and I am a 24 years old strange girl from Romania. I’m always trying to surround myself with art and create as much as possible so that’s why now I’m studying architecture, share my makeup looks and outfits with the World through my instagram account or my blog, and work as an illustrator. Since I was a kid I’ve been around creative people that made me wanna use my imagination to the maximum and be proud of my not so usual style.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m trying to keep my instagram post focused on makeup looks and outfits. If someone followed my page to get makeup or style inspiration, I won’t make them follow my daily life instead… I will probably slip a coffee photo one in a blue moon. Sometimes I use my instagram story to share different things with whoever is interested.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Evasplace30 comes from my name and the fact that the things that I create are my happy place. The 30 at the end had to be there because EvasPlace was already taken and May 30 it’s my birthday.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Adobe Photoshop to edit my photos and before sharing them with the world I also use VSCO for the HB1 filter and if I fill a bit extra some days I brighten them a little more using instagram.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There are so many amazing artist on Instagram that I could spend hours just scrolling through the explore page. I really take inspiration from Risa Dexter and Jessica Haze, they are my type of witchy girls. I also love Katia Nikolajew (bewolffashion on instagram) she is just pure creativity and she was one of the first people I’ve followed.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Sometimes I feel like Instagrammer are trying to create what they think other people will enjoy and stop creating for themselves, and creating for others it is a wonderful thing as long as we are doing things that we enjoy creating. Our art should be representing a part of ourselves, or at least that’s what I believe.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I don’t really consider myself an influencer, but I love to inspire people, to make them believe in themselves and be proud of who they are.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think breands should work with people that are truly enjoying their products, because they will do the best job at promoting their products. Maintaining my authenticity it is simple for me, because once I will try to come as something that I’m not, the fun it is over for me

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

The beauty section on every social platform it is overly saturated, and people are trying to find something new and different, because sometimes they get bored if seeing the same things over and over again, so being original and offering fresh content it is the only way to make yourself noticed.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The experience of working with people that are more experienced then I am. Also the fact that I know that someone noticed my work and thought I am good enough for them to offers me the opportunity of working with them makes all the effort worth it. And I’m not gonna be an hypocrite now and don’t admit that trying out new products it is fun.
