Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Elenea Celene M. Karaniwan @misselenea

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I go by my nickname “Amber” on my social media accounts as a tribute to my Disk Jockey (DJ) name in a university radio station in the Philippines. Most people know me from that nickname and have led to being my permanent introduction to new acquaintances. The nickname Amber came from 311’s song entitled “Amber” with the lyrics, “Whoa, amber is the color of your energy, whoa, shades of gold display naturally.”

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

The topics that I usually post on my feed would be my talents which are my hosting journeys and creative editing. Other than that, I love to post about life, beauty, fashion and give advices to my followers.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I had this username since 2014, I wanted to have an instagram name that sounded professional but also chic thus, @misselenea.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I have my own filter that I created through lightroom. I edit my photos there mostly and I am very keen about the quality so I make sure to use a DSLR camera and Iphone X above.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

The Instagrammers that I admire the most would be the creators of Sunnies PH, Georgina Wilson (@ilovegeorgina) and Martine Ho (@martine) because of their creative content and quality that I wish to reach.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part would be the people that I inspire are around me. I always remind myself to stay true especially in my posts and then I would get messages of’ thank yous’ and ‘you inspire me’ which lead me to doing better in life to have them do the same.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I haven’t joined any campaigns yet this would be my first time joining StarNgage and I can’t wait to try it.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Make sure to include all necessary information about the brand in the campaigns that they do and they should not deceive the public. Stay real and don’t forget the brand’s goal, mission, and vision.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

My advice would be it is okay to gather inspiration because there is a lot of great content that has already been launched and created. Gathering and combine with your passion, make sure to not lose yourself or the vision and mission of your group in producing such content. Always add a personal touch.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

That I am able to know more about the brand and learn from them.
