Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Edlyn Seow @entertwined

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello! I’m currently doing my last semester at University at Buffalo, SIM. Whenever I’m not busying myself with books- for studies or leisure, I do freelance modeling and acting. I’m Singaporean, born and bred in the little red dot we call home!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion, beauty, food.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It was really random. While thinking up an id, I happened to see the word “Intertwined” on the cover of a magazine. I didn’t want to spend too much time on it, so I merely changed the “I” to an “E” to signify the initial for my name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Snapseed of course! But I am actually pretty bad at editing my photos. The basics are what I usually adjust- Brightness, Contrast, Highlights and Shadows. Bleh xD

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

The Jouer lipstick in the shade Papaye. It is simply gorgeous and so chic!! Definitely a conversation starters for Instagrammers who attend media invites and etc.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Meeting new people with similar interests!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Be selective about the Instagrammers you choose. Choose them not for their following count, but if they really suit your brand. I support and do sponsorships on brands that I really like

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and original content is what makes the cut. Everyone knows when an Instagrammer is curating genuine reviews or is simply faking it.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Getting introduced to new products and services. Most often, I don’t know of the new and upcoming brands and trends fast enough. These brand partnerships enlighten me.
