1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a twenty-something girl currently living in London, blogging full time, trying to stylishly stumble through life. I’m a loyal Londonite, it’s my favourite city in the world. There’s so much to see or do here and I try to capture as much as I possibly can on my blog, That New Dress. I also share all the tips and tricks any young professional girl (or guy) would need to help them navigate city living as stylishly as possible!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

First and foremost I’m all about shopping! I’m a total self-confessed shopaholic, so I’ll often post about new purchases, especially if they are a bargain! I love sharing good sales finds. Also, beauty, outfits, snaps from London and anything that inspires me.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Originally my blog was predominantly about sharing shopping tips and where to find the best sales. Also, as I’m a real girly girl, That New Dress just seemed like the perfect fit.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t use any apps for my photos other than the odd Instagram filter occasionally or maybe a bit of brightening. My best tip for getting the most out of your photos is to use a good quality camera instead of your phone. The differences are huge and it’s so worth the extra effort of lugging a camera around with you!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Yes, so many! I love @iamchouquette, @lydiaemillen, @thefashionbugblog, @margoandme, @taramilktea, @aliceinherpalace, @rosielondoner…. enough yet?!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Jumping into the unknown. Before I took the leap to blog full time I went to live in LA for a year. I didn’t know a single person out there but I knew I needed to shake up my life and learn to be brave. Turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Hands down meeting new people. I’ve met some of the most amazing and driven people through blogging. Influencers often get a bad rep but some of the hardest workers are in this industry.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Once you’ve identified the influencer you want to work with give them a clear brief and trust their vision. There’s a reason you picked them over the 1000s of others. If you picked the right person for the campaign, maintaining authenticity should never be a problem.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

So simple, stay true to yourself. It’s very easy to see what other bloggers are doing out there and think you need to do the same. I assure you, you don’t! You’ll be rewarded in the long run for being honest and true to yourself.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Seeing behind the scenes. It never fails to amaze me the work and effort which goes into creating a product. Every brand has a story to tell and I love being able to help tell it.
