Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Diane Jordan @dianouch

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a model at Frame Perfect Management London. I am born in Eastern Europe and I moved to London to find fame and fortune. Thanks to Instagram these thing became easier to achieve.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I am interested in fashion, beauty and lifestyle. I mostly show off myself. For example my make up or I am wearing. I love beautiful things!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Way back in 2010 one guy from Paris named Jordan gave me the nickname Dianouch. That’s Diane in French. I started liking it and it got stuck in my head. I must thank that guy! Never thought that a nickname could turn into a brand. It has nothing to do with the ouch though lol I bet a lot if people think of the ouch and it makes my Instagram name super catchy! Ch like Chanel because once again,it’s French. I must thank this amazing language for my nickname as well.
In case you want to know about my stage name Diane Jordan I was inspired by the story of Michael Jordan. He was told he was not tall for the college basketball team, I was told I was not tall enough to be a model. In fact according I do fit the industries standards. Also, the first number of Jordan was 23 and my birthday is on the 23 of September. To add more, if you take MJ’s second number 45, 4+5=9 So it had to be Jordan!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Firstly, I edit in Facetune. I love making my eyes pop more. Plus to make my skin perfect. I love details! Having Facetune on my phone made me change my game!
Pimple eraser is an amazing app when you want to erase your pimples. We all have a bad face day at some point of life, let’s be honest. I am not using it at the moment as my health has improved. This app helped me a lot in the past. It’s bery useful for multiple blemishes.
The other app, that I was using before I had Facetune and I still use is VSCO. I love HB1 as it makes my features stand out. Plus it makes my skin look beautiful. I love having my selfies cold and that’s why the temperature is low and there are blue shadows. I add only a little bit of saturation. Not more than 2 to be precise.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I like the style of Louise Bennetzen, the creator of Modern Girl. I also like Sonya Esman and Tanya Prikmeta.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Learning new things.
New things can inspire a lot!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

It’s a chance to make new connections. This can change the game. Contacts can get you somewhere far, somewhere you could never think of! Plus, you can learn a lot of new things.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Brands need to work with different influencers and pay even more attention to the smaller influencers. Influencers on the smaller scale spend more time engaging with the audience. The audience of small and medium size influncers is very loyal. My fans mean the world to me!
For me, having big brands like Fashion’s Finest, Badoo,The True Company and Rupp hand picking me for their campaigns was a massive honour. These brands definetely know how to work with the influencers.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Try to improve your editing game. Also work on your angles!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Making new contacts. Also, learning new things. For example, thanks to Mindful Chef @mindfulchefuk I found out about healthy alternatives. These alternatives look very beautiful as well. Before The True Company I never thought that sonic silicone toothbrushes exist. This brush was one of the best things I have ever tried in my life! I even tried the chocolate waxing thanks to The Tanning Shop Reading. This was the best wax ever. Smelled like the real chocolate: both the wax and the post wax.
PS: before The Tanning Shop Reading I never knew about the post wax.
Partnering makes you learn the new things all the time!
