Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Davina @Da.viinaa

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I live in Ireland it’s kind of a small country ? Right now I’m in school, I’m in 8th grade

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m interested in a lot of things, music/fashion/makeup etc. My Instagram mostly has pictures of me.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I’ve been featured in a lot of pages and I honestly think that’s a genuine way to gain followers. If they see you on a account they like/follow they’ll follow you. I’ve DMed pages to feature me sometimes I’ve even had to pay .

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t really do much, I like to take pictures on snapchat because I feel like it’s better than my actual camera, i always save my pictures, I never delete my pictures until I think I’m done with my photo session and I’ve found the right picture. I like to use face tune if I’ve got a scar or something I don’t want to be noticeable that’s on my face. And also love to use colour story for editing

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There’s a few people i like. I don’t really take an interest in other peoples pages other than family and friends. Nobody on instagram inspires me, I do follow a few fashion pages though. I feel like when I’m “inspired” by someone I tend to compare myself to them . So the only thing that inspires me are pages that post outfits and not actual people on instagram

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think one thing instagrammers should try out is using the block button, something that comes with having a lot of followers is negativity . And you’ve just got I remember to be positive , block the person they won’t come back and the issue has been solved. Sometimes there are days were I do respond even though I know I shouldn’t lol

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favourite part about being an influencer is knowing that people you don’t really know are taking an interest in your life. I’ve spoken with some of my followers through DMs and I feel like they support me a lot when I read their messages

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Be patient and let things work out. That’s something I’ve had to learn, things take time and it can be frustrating but all you’ve got to do is have hope and continue to be positive

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Be different, be yourself. Its your instagram page and if posting whatever it is you post makes you happy no matter how weird other people think it is it doesn’t matter and you should just do you.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I think getting to see how it all plays out.
