Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Claudia @claudiantonacci

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello! I’m Claudia, I’m 24 and I’m an italian blogger based in a little town near Genova. I’m currently studying architecture. The last year I went abroad for an Erasmus in Bruxelles and I’m leaving again soon for another abroad experience in Barcelona.
As you can understand I never stop! I love travelling and absorbing as much as possible from what I see and live.

In 2014 I opened fashionpeony.com, the blog where I share my outfits and travel tips in order to inspire other girls and fellow travellers.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I have always been paying attention to how I was dressing since I was a teenage, but I never wanted to mix with the mass.

On my Instagram I try to share this part of me and the best pics of my travels.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I wanted a name that could be suitable for any future change of my profile. I always try to look further in time, so I thought that anything better than my name and surname could make me seem professional and coherent with myself. I wanted it to be very simple and linear so I came up with @claudiantonacci.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Practising is what leads you to create your routine. You first have to decide which is your style. I loved those bright and somehow white pictures so I decided to go towards that direction.

I was first editing my pictures with Instagram editor right in the app, but this didn’t allow me to have a preview of my feed, as I had to publish my post, then delete it, check if was coherent with my feed and republish it.

So I decided to find a good app for photo editing. I feel very comfortable with Aviary. I usually adjust brightness, a bit of contrast and lights/shadows. When needed I use also the whitening tool.

The second step consists of uploading my picture on Later, which allows me to schedule multiple post (I usually post once a day) and have a preview of my feed!
When It’s time to post a picture I just have to copy the text I had prepared and eventually tag brands.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I’m mostly fascinated by spanish bloggers’ style. I find @lovelypepa, @bartabac and silviaboschblog have a great style and quality pictures!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Instagram stories with any doubt. I find it still a bit primitive, but I am sure it’s a feature which is going to improve.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love being an inspiration for other people who need a piece of advice about how to dress during their daily lives!

On my personal side, I have to keep updated and constantly learn new things, so being an influencer helped me to learn a lot of new stuff about blogging and understanding more about myself and what I like.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Being authentic and sincere is the key. Some brands should try to understand more the influencers they contact. I sometimes receive mails and messages from brands who don’t suit at all my style, as if they had never visited my blog.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

The best thing is to find an influencer that exactly suits the brand style and don’t show people you’re purposing a product to sell, but you’re just showing something because you like it! That’s what makes you original and spontaneous.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It helps me to improve my work experience and interaction skills. Learning to promote something, relating with the brand in a professional way, are things I’m sure will be useful for my future working carreer as an architect, and who knows, maybe as influencer too!

Last but not least, I love the fact of getting free stuff. Let’s be honest: which girl doesn’t love receiving free goods?
