Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Christopher Nehmé @Chrisnehme

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a Lebanese American business graduate with a nack for fashion and travel!!! I work as a social media manager for an organic company in Beirut and the UAE, along with being the company’s graphic designer and marketing coordinator.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My Instagram feed is mainly pictures of my life, mainly on vacation or having a good time. I like to spread positive vibes in every picture that shows the beauty of the world… I’m diverting the account away from myself little by little and trying to make it a “Man on Vacation” kind of page.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Christopher Nehmé is my actual name… in my efforts of creating a brand, what better brand to be other than myself! I want my followers to know me and be close to me, not just my pictures.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I like to use a little photoshop to enhance colors and capture what the camera and lighting couldn’t capture, but I was able to see … so I like to make sure I create the perfect shot so that my followers were almost there with me.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I like this friend’s account called NoPaparazziMan because of his fashion sense!! I also admire the beautifuldestinations accounts!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Being yourself on your own page because people want to follow you because of you and your thoughts and your face, not you trying to be something your not!! I’m a fashion lover who searches for picturesque places to go to… this is me!!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I like having people care about my thoughts… with my followers, my thoughts become influential and may change someone’s attitude in a day or maybe give them a goal to go to a place or change in lifestyle… like I mentioned I try to picture a positive vibe and hope to make a change.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

By being you!!! If I were to run campaigns I would accept ones that mainly I can relate to and be myself with. If you are you, you are always authentic.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality pictures are must… as a graphic designer I admire high Rez shots, so I would hate to use anything else ! As for originality, well it’s me so I doubt there’s another me out there doing what I am doing hehe.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

That I can use my influential shots to open people’s eyes to something they could be interested in!! This is key since they follow me for me, and if I like something enough to partner with, then maybe it would interest them as well !!
