Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Christian Walton @Chriswaltonn

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I live in a town in the North East of England called Newcastle-Upon-Tyne which is mostly known for it’s historic features and amazing nightlife. Right now I’m a student in Sixth Form just coming up to my last year of the course. I study Performing Arts, Media and Art.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest would have to be New York and traveling the world, New York has always been my dream vacation. To stand on Times Square and just soak in all the bright colours, the sounds and the amazing veiws of the buildings and posters.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I got my Instagram name just from my own name, their isn’t really a story behind my username.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t edit much, I either choose a default filter or I’ll use a collage app and edit some of my photos on there.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I like a few instagrammers such as @TheLensBible or @Missanjemi for some of her gruesome work as a pathologist’s assistant, I guess it’s a guilty pleasure of mine since I’m obsessed with CSI and such.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Probably a teeth whitening kit, I personally think that teeth whitening is something many people would change about themselves including me, with the technology these days there is some amazing new products out their that are organic and don’t use bad chemicals.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Getting to know the people who follow me, talking to them and getting to know their story, what it’s like to live where they come from.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Just come out and show the true meaning of the company and the products you make and when the public see what’s your selling and how your selling the product they will be more interested.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Top quality content is what brings you the followers and if your just posting photos of things you haven’t taken people look at them and think what’s the point and loose interest in your account.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The friendly and cooperative people you get to communicate with, to stretch out and work with some amazing brands is probably my favourite thing to do.
