Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Chris Bodelle @Bodewell

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Chris Bodelle. I’m from The Midwestern part of the USA. I’m crrently traveling the world trying to tell brand’s stories through photography.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post a lot of outdoorsy adventurous photos that inspire exploration.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Bode (the first four letters of my last name) meaning to go as in explore and Well meaning in good nature. So travel-well or good journey.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t use many apps I manly edit via photoshop, the old school way. I feel presets are a way for people to be efficient but it throws us out of touch with certain skills.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

@forestminkins and &claytontaylor both have really inspiring feeds.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Going someplace they’ve never been before.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Doing things I’ve never or otherwise would never have experienced before and then seeing others doing the same. It almost allows us to share a connection and relive it together.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I’d say researching markets and trends then diligence in applying what you’ve learned to your campaigns.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Well copying what someone else if doing too closely sort of stunts your growth. If and when they stop doing that you’re sort of left not knowing what to do or what the next step is.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The new relationships, accomplished goals, and new adventures are really exciting.
