1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I currently work in the influencer marketing field for a company called Blog Meets Brand. I am also a blogger at http://mypixieblog.com and occasionally http://pixieconsulting.net where I provide social media and marketing assistance to small businesses

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Pit bulls and shelter advocacy, eco-friendly and sustainable brands, health/wellness products, travel, fashion

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I’m not sure that I use any, though I have used repost previously

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Don’t use the filters–you can enhance your photos on your own and really make the images pop!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Learning about new, up-and-coming brands before they are available to the public

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Find influencers that work for you and can best leverage your product/service. I’ve seen a lot of bloggers who have much less traffic score far higher with brands than those with very high social followers.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I’m a writer by trade and it’s something I pride myself on. I understand what it means to work tirelessly to produce something I’m proud of and the same can be said of photography or any other creative medium. Spend the extra time to create your own content and you’ll always be proud of what goes out to the world.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Earning potential, the chance to learn about a new product, and introducing my readers to a new brand
