1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Cate Ayella, and in short, am passionate about creating. The angle In which I approach this is that, I truly believe in people which in most cases others refer to as Naivety but I’ve always hoped they could see things in my perspective. So, what am pursuing in myself is sharing the little knowledge I know in every aspect, be it Fashion, travel or lifestyle.
Well, I started this journey of blogging in 2015 even before I really knew what it was. I could take photos of what I wore everyday and post them on my social media. Little did I know that it was impacting some people, that people were following what I was putting out there, that if I didn’t put out something, I would get messages from them asking me what happened. It’s from then, that I do what I do now.

I come from Uganda found in Eastern Africa.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I majorly post Afrocentric Fashion on my feed and my stories are usually about beauty and lifestyle

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name is my real name. I don’t get why people don’t always use there real names 😏

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I majorly use photoshop and Lightroom.
I had a preset custom made for me that I literally slap on my photos to give them my aesthetic.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I have a phase of instagrammer inspirations. In the past, been motivated by aimeesong, chrisellelim but now I’m drawn more to asiyamigold

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part is being truly myself and it changes people’s lives positively. I can never have enough of that.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

My favorite part is seeing myself being listed among several influencers, damn! That never gets older.
I haven’t landed any campaigns as I have just joined.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

My top tip to brands would be to let the influencer be creative by themselves and not enforce their decisions on the “influence of the influencers “, it defeats the whole purpose.

I remind myself of the reason why I started this whole journey, it keeps me grounded.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality never goes out of style and is seen from a distance. It cost a lot but worth it in the end.
Original content – someone in this world has ur same idea but what makes it “your original content is no one is you”, always have a personal addition to your craft.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Building a Cv and having deeper knowledge about the products.
