1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi! I am a wife and a proud mom of my 2-month old Baby Boy. I’m currently a stay-at-home Parent who also happen to help my parents manage our business. I am from Cebu, Philippines.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I am currently posting about my life as a mother and about my son.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My name is Caryl May and to make it more unique, I’ve come up with “caREALmay”

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I am using Lightroom and enhance it with vscocam.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I’m inspired by @leagoeson, an Island Girl and now a mom. Also by Kryz Uy, Andi Manzano, Saab Magalona, and Christiana Collings.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The thing about being an influencer is don’t choose your audience. Instead, you aspire to be the person they really like. It makes me happy to inspire others and influence them especially those first time Parents.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I am excited to work with StarNgage since I’m new in this industry.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Instead of competing with other brands, we just have to keep it simple yet catchy.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It is so important to be original. We may not be the first ones to do a certain thing but what is important is how you showcase something with your own brand.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like it when I can work and share what I have with other people.
