1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I am originally from a little town in Virginia, called Leesburg. From there, my family moved in Central Point, Oregon. With that move, I lost the little southern accent that I had acquired. I will say I am happy I no longer have that little twang to my speech. I am a model here in Medford now. However, my agency is based in Portland. I am now moving there in December! I’ll be starting school there in January as well. Don’t ask me what I’m going for. I just love education.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
As a model, I post on instagram because it is my biggest platform to represent not only me, but my work. Every gig, opportunity, promotion that I’ve gotten has been from instagram. Safe to say, it’s my favorite app or social media account for that reason alone. I love to model. Not only for the income, but for the creativity involved and for the fact that multiple people can come together and ultimately make something beautiful. I love to hike, to read, to rock climb, to shop, and to make delicious beautiful healthy meals! Oh and I looooove to make crafts, and anything that has to do with interior design, or design in itself.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
The story of my instagram name is not an interesting one. It’s simply my first and middle name put together with an extra ‘e’, because the username was taken otherwise. I’m surprised someone else has that name truthfully.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
Ahhhh with being a model, I actually don’t edit my own photos. I have no clue what each specific photographer uses for their images either.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
I love @harleescloset and @arosevan most. I mostly follow other models and food/exercise accounts. I can’t think of any specifics that stand out to me though.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
Strawberries, bananas, blueberries, cinnamon, honey, and peanut butter mixed in a mug. Go, now.
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
My favorite part of being an influencer is definitely having a voice. Having morals and respect as a woman in this day and age and showing other women that it’s okay to stick to your roots. A new fad will change over and over, don’t let it change you.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
It’s hard to maintain full originality with so many people with similar ideas all over our world. My advice would be to put a little bit of yourself into each and everything you do or create. We don’t need another him or her, we need a you.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
I’d stray away from filters, and mess around with the lighting instead. Even if it’s just within your own instagram app. Much better quality that way. As far as remaining original, use your creativity, your imagination to create new content. Don’t go searching through someone else ideas on pinterest or instagram.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
I’d say my favorite part about being sponsored by brands or companies is learning what they do and why. Learning how the idea became and how it flourished! Gives us all a little hope, doesn’t it?
