1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello, I am Carmen. I am 20 this year. I am a quite a shy and quiet girl when I am around people that I am not close with. I am currently pursuing my studies in TARUC. I come from K.L.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interests are food, vlogs, fashion, travel, dance and modelling. I usually post my own pictures and some selfies. Also, I do share my dance passion, food and my lifestyle in IG story.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

carmenteow_18 which is my instagram name and it comes about through the suggestion of some other apps since I didn’t have any idea on the username so I used it for instagram as well.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use lightroom, VSCO, and Snapseed to edit my photos. I would usually filter my pics and edit the brightness, sharpen it, and edit the colour choices.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Yes, of course. There are many instagrammers whom I really like. One of it is @stephyyiwen because the quality of her photo is really good and her appearance and attitude really attracted and got my attention. Her travel and lifestyle posts are so pretty and gorgeous.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I would like my fellow instagrammers to support, share and like my pictures if they really do support me 🙂

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I get to share my thoughts and feelings to more people. Hence, I get to have the opportunity to receive sponsorships with some of the large companies. I get to participate in events and also to know more influencer.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

In order to run a better campaign, I think getting more sponsorship from outsider can reduce and meet the budget target. Not only that, social media is the best platform to run campaigns too by sharing awareness through FB, insta and so forth. This is because most people are connected online nowadays.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I personally think that the quality of the topic or pictures should be interesting in order to attract people to notice you. Creating new content may make people to feel fresh and also make yourself more noticeable in the crowd.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Getting free products to try it out and share to my fellow instagrammers if they do not know about this product yet. Thus, I get to attend events to meet more new friends.
