Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Carmen @carmenjheredia

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Carmen and I’m from Spain and I’m 20. I have been all my life in Logroño, La rioja (good wine) but now I’m studying in Zaragoza, that is bigger than Logroño, but not too big like Madrid or Barcelona. It’s ok, you can do whatever you want there. I study Industrial Design and Developing of Products at university.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I really like things that have something in common with design and fashion. I love travelling too, when I have time, of course. In Instagram I like posting photos of my trips, or different outfits, food, photos with friends and events that I have attended. I like photography too, so if I take a good picture I upload it to Instagram. I love Instagram, I think you can express much there.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name is just mi real name and my last names. Carmen Jiménez Heredia: carmenjheredia

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I used vsco cam and I liked next effects: A6, ACG, C1, F2, HB1, HB2 and sometimes KK1, KK2 and P5.
Now I use Afterlight. I think it’s an amazing app to edit your photos because you have lots of effects (sometimes is difficult choose just one). And you can do other things to get your photo better like put differents lights or textures. If the photo needs it I change the contrast, the exposition…

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I follow especially spanish instagramers like @dulceida, @gigi_vives, @goicoechea22, @ninauc, @martalozanop, @kaarls_gr, @itziaraguilera, @carlotawebern and @mariapombo.
The most inspired me I think it’s @itziaraguilera.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think jewelry, clothing, body products such as creams, music, places to visit,…

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love know new people, chat with one person that want to know something about my clothes or my photo, like where has it been taken. I would like to advertise something cool with my account.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I always try to be myself. Although I look others influencers to look for different ways to do stuff I always add something mine.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

That everytime you would like to upload new content you added something new and different that other times, just a detail, something that makes special each publication.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I would like to advertise brands I like and have fun doing it. I wanna enjoy the experience and do it the best I can. I think I’m an applied and responsible person doing things I love and this is one of that things.
