1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Carmen, a 21 year old woman from Spain and I’m currently studying English.
My main passion is writing, but I also love and enjoy stuff like photography and music. Everything that has to do with freeing myself and my creativity.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I usually post pictures with my friends, selfies showing my clothes or makeup, pics of stuff that I love…that kind of thing. I also post a lot of pictures from my travels – I don’t travel as much as I’d like, but when I do, I’m always taking pictures.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I was looking for a cool instagram name and I was wearing my ‘Dookie’ (Green Day’s album) tshirt when I created the account. I thought zookie rhymed with dookie and I put them together + my year of birth.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I mostly use VSCO, I think it’s a great app to edit your pics and also give them your own style. If it’s a picture taken with my camera instead of my phone, I use photoshop.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like ‘gmunchiez’, ‘harry_hitchens’, ‘alexstrohl’ and ‘willdarbyshire’ – their pictures are amazing.
When it comes to fashion/makeup related accounts, I love ‘haleyymadison’, but one of my top 3 instagram accounts is ‘doyoutravel’. His pictures are simply breathtaking.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think some of them could try being a bit more honest about the products/lifestyle they promote.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I don’t think I’m one since I’ve got less than 800 followers, but I can say I really like when people genuinely enjoy my pics and texts.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

The best way to maintain authenticity is by offering the campaigns to people who actually are interested in the product the brand is selling/promoting.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I honestly think that posting original content is the most important thing when it comes to instagram. I mean, we all can look something up on Google and steal a picture that’s already there. Creating your own feed, with your own pictures is the key to everything.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Sadly, I’ve never done that, so I can’t answer.
