Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Carlee Clements @CarleeQTpie

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Carlee Clements I’ve just turned 10 and I am an actress, dancer, singer, model, presenter and Influencer! I am always busy creating content and working on my training. I have been doing a lot of online learning and trying to refine my skills so I am ready for when the industry reopens.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I mostly post modelling photos and talk about my interests. I try to include things I am passionate about like my family, The Arts, Childhood Cancer Awareness, The Environment, Clean Oceans and I advocate for anti bullying, climate change and promoting kindness.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name came about because my parents think I am cute! I will probably change it as I grow and mature.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I try not to use apps to edit photos because most of my photos are professionally taken. I love using filters and most of my photos are edited in photoshop.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Where do I start? There are so many Instagrammers I like for example Brent and Lexi Revera and Sophie Dossi but mostly I love following celebrity actors and actresses.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love being able to show new products and share my experiences with others. I especially love unboxing videos as I get excited to see what products have been sent and I can’t wait to try them. It’s so awesome when your fans and friends leave positive and encouraging comments or if they tell you that you have helped someone or changed their life in someway.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

StarNgage is an amazing concept and helps connect influencers with brands who can help each other. I’ve been invited to apply for a few StarNgage jobs and I am grateful for the opportunities.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Most of the time people want to know they are getting value for money or hear about a positive experience from your perspective about using a product. It’s really important to be honest about your experiences because that is how you built trust with your audience.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

My advice is definitely make sure you are original people lose respect for you if you are not authentic or if you just copy others. People are always looking for something unique and real. They want to relate and connect with you.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The thing I love the most about partnering with brands is being the first to review products, being sent exciting new things and being given an opportunity to create content. I particularly like partnering with brands who share my values for example being eco-friendly, animal cruelty free and are working towards a sustainable future.
