1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
My name is Bryony and I’m 23 years old and photography has always been a huge passion of mine. I’m currently working in a supermarket wanting to earn money to travel the world. Exploring is my favourite thing to do and I absolutely love going on adventures. I come from England and have lived here all my life, even lived in the same house all this time.
I also have a few other hobbies such as music, I play the piano and guitar. Baking is another thing I get a lot of joy from, I just basically love being creative.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
I post my photography work on Instagram as I think it’s a great way to get your work out there. I know a lot of people tend to stick with one area of photography but for me I love all areas, but I do mainly focus on nature/landscapes/travel photography.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
Funny enough I’ve always sort of hated my username. I wanted to use my actual name but was already taken. I’m useless at coming up with creative names and this one just came to mind and it was simple.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I’ve discovered a lot of apps over the years and change them around a bit. My absolute favourite app and one I use all the time is called ‘enlight’ that’s where I change the colours. I also use ‘snapspeed’ which is so simple and just let me change the tones and the brightness of my photos. I love adding something extra and a bit of ‘magic’ to my photos and that’s when an app called ‘repix’ comes in handy!
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
Every person I follow on Instagram inspires me in different ways which is why I follow them. I love following travellers and seeing photos from around the world!
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
They’ve gotta try and not give up with their instagrams! I hear a lot of people disheartening themselves because they don’t have as many followers as others or they feel like their work isn’t good enough, but the important thing is is to just keep going with it.
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
I wouldn’t call myself an influencer, I appreciate all my followers and people who support my work. But I don’t think I would call myself an influencer.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
Just to put yourself out there and reach out to people as much as you can.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
When we’re speaking of quality I think it’s more about quantity rather than quality in your photos. You don’t always need clear perfect photos but I think the most important thing is to be original and come up with your own ideas and do something a little bit different.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
I’ve personally never partnered with a brand before but I think it’s a great way to see how that side of things work and getting a glimpse of how that side of things work.
