Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Britt Van Landeghem @thatgirlnamedbibi

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Britt, a 22 year old instablogger/online influencer currently living in Madeira. I’m originally from Belgium but i moved to Portugal last year after I got married to my Egyptian husband who plays football here. I have a bachelor degree in Hotelmanagement and I’m now the proud owner of my own jewelrywebshop.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m a big fan of fashion and make-up and I love to share my interests with my followers.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I recently changed my Instagram name since the first one wasn’t really ‘up-to-date’ anymore. All the pictures that I post are about me and my daily life, so that’s why I’ve chosen ‘thatgirlnamedbibi’.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I love the Photoshop Adobe Express, it just makes the quality of the photo’s way better in a very fast and easy way.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I’m a very big fan of the Belgian fashionblogger @limaswardrobe , she’s kinda my Instagram rolemodel.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Try to stay real. Use pictures of your daily life, let people know what you do and how you look like every day. Don’t try to copy other people.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love getting to know new brands and sharing my opinion with my followers. It’s always nice to help brands to increase their audience/clients.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Go for brands that really fit with you.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Don’t go copy other profiles.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It feels great to be able to help them to become more known. It’s always nice to try out brands that you’ve maybe never have heard of before.
