Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Benedetta Barozzi @lepetitvoyageur_b

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello! my name is Benedetta and I am the founder of "LePetitVoyageurB"! I’m from Italy and it’s from here that I manage my blog. Right now I’m a law student at University and in my free time I love to travel and learn about other cultures up close and, of course, I share all my experience on my Instagram or on my personal blog!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I am very passionate about fashion and travels, that’s why I try to post on my Instagram things that relate to these two topics. However, I would say my Instagram profile is more focused on my everyday life, being a "collection" of all the things that I want to share with my followers and I think they will enjoy. So I guess my blog is actually more about my lifestyle, if you really want to put it into a category.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I’ve always been in love with France and French, so, planning a possible name for my blog (and consequently for my Instagram), I wanted my love for the French language to emerge. "Petit" means little/small, because I’m not very tall (or, as I prefer to call myself, I’m a pocket-size girl!), and "Voyageur" means traveller, and invokes my deep love for travels and new adventures!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

My photo-editing routine is constantly changing.
Currently, my favourite photo-editing apps are:
-Snapseed (where I add brightness, cut and improve my photos)
-Facetune (where I improve my selfie-game and where I use the whitening tool to give a clearer and monochromatic effect to the background of my photos)
-VSCO (where I apply the filters to my photos. Currently my favourite one is the A5)
-InstaSize (where, if necessary, I apply another filter, the "1989")

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Oh Gosh, there are so many!
Obviously the Instagrammer that gave me the inspiration to start my blog is my compatriot Chiara Ferragni! I love her!
As for fashion I follow a lot of fashion bloggers (such as DamselInDior and WeWoreWhat) and all the guys and girls of ASOS (they publish some great photos).
For travels my inspiration is definitely Debi flue, she publishes the most wonderful photos and visits amazing dreamy places!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

It may sound obvious, but I think everyone once in their life should try to let go and experience some new adventures! I know the "thing" that I would recommend to my followers is not actually a real thing, but it is an adventure, an emotion.
Being more specific, I recommend to my followers to choose for a destination (I highly recommend the island of Crete), rent a scooter, a machine, a quad or whatever they want, and start exploring! Seeing the sea scroll at your side, the sun beating on your forehead and the wind blowing through your hair, is an indescribable feeling. I did it, and it was probably one of the times when I felt more at peace with the world.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favourite part of being an influencer is being an inspiration to someone. It may sound silly, but I love when my followers tell me their stories. For example, when I post the photos of my travels and someone says to me "you know, I saw the pictures and so I decided to go to that place and it was an amazing trip" or if I post an outfit photo and someone tells me "I bought that same blouse after seeing your photo, everyone compliment me", is something that makes me feel good knowing I made someone’s life more beautiful even in an indirectly and not-so-important way.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Usually, Brands tend to go "hunting" for influencers with more followers, but often this takes away their authenticity. Sometimes an influencer with fewer followers, but closer to the aesthetics of the brand, may be the best choice to show that product. I try to keep my authenticity by agreeing to promote only things that I love and I’d like to have, that’s the only way I can be sincere in suggesting them to my followers.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Original and quality content are the main reason (if not the only) why people decide to follow you.
You have to show yourself for who you really are, show your life and your tastes in a genuine way if you really want people to love your job and take you as an inspiration.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The thing I like best about working with brands is that I have the possibility to show something new and wonderful to my followers and advise them about products that I’ve personally tried and loved.
