Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Ashley @__ashtastic__

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a recent college graduate from Walsh University. I majored in public relations and humanities. I’m currently work full time doing business sales. Getting experience for my career. I am born and raised from Canton, OH and was in the United States Air Force for five years before deciding I wanted to go to school full-time and get my degree.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I have a lot of different interests video games, blogging, makeup, movies, technology, cute animals especially by dog Milo.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My original instagram name was spin. If you ever watched Scandal you’ll get the reference. But after starting my blog I wanted my social media accounts to reflect that name for it. So that’s how I came up with Ashtastic.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I wish I was all about editing my photos. I tried it once and overdid it. I think the beauty filter that comes on my phone is good enough. I just take a lot of selfies or pictures and then decide which one I’ll keep.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really enjoy MakeupShayla, Desi Perkins, Lustrelux, Chrisspy and Amerzy. They are all so gorgeous and them working out has really inspired me to get back into my fitness journey.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

They new snap chat feature that they just came out with. I’m not gonna lie I was not feeling it at first. But it’s not so bad. Maybe it will make snapchat pick up their game.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I wouldn’t consider myself and influencer but I really enjoy feeling like I’m a part of something even if it’s only a little bit. I also like having a outlet for me be be creative again.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Always be transparent. I believe honesty is the best policy and losing someones trust is not something you can easily gain back.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Be true to yourself there are always new tips and tricks coming out but try to tailor them to your aesthetic.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I have not had the chance to partner with any brands. But I would love the opportunity to do so.
