1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I am a self-taught artist whose artwork developed for a time during the 80s, was then
put on hold after the birth of my children. Until 2009, my artist life came alive once again through painting, photography and digital pieces. I produced a range of artwork while working as a personal assistant for house bound individuals with disabilities. Working in this way brought about depression for me as I was completely burnt out. Through my art however, I was able to come out of that state, leading me to the choice that even if I stay poor, I will never again leave my artistic path. Currently gaining a basic income from the state, I have a bed, a roof over my head and food to eat, all things that make me a happy artist.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
My work focuses on the idea that nothing is permanent, something I learned during experiencing my depressive state two years earlier. I strive to push my ideas and am inspired by work by Piet Mondrian reinterpreting it through contemporary techniques, to expand the possibilities that the grand master has opened for the ones who understand his work.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
My name is put together my first name and my surname into one single name.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I am using since many years Ulead PhotoImpact. That company had been taken over from Corel some years ago. I like that software, because it’s easy to use and self-explaining in an easy way. Photoshop is too complicated for me.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
I have two young artists I think they are outstanding in their own way. One is a young artist from Barcelona, Spain, working on glass sculptures. Her name is Anna Alsina Bardagi, annaalsinabardagi is her profile name on Instagram.
The second is a great artist from Berlin, Germany, doing real great photography in her own, outstanding way. Her profile name on Instagram is cheyenna_grey
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
Just look by yourself …
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
It’s a great way to be an example in bringing the ideas of humanism, solidarity and compassion around.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
Never sell your soul!!! You can’t buy it back again. Always be originally authentic, success will show you that this is the right way.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
Always be honest. Lying doesn’t pay you, but sure will make you paying!
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
Working on the same level. Not above or down … partnership is not a one way street and all ideas are equal in their value and in the result.
