1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi, my name is Anne and I am the content creator behind @annechee_ on Instagram. My Instagram focuses n highlighting fashion, beauty, and lifestyle to my audience encouraging them to look for products that make them feel confident.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Anne is for beauty and chee is my nickname.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I used lightroom to edit my photos, and do manual editing. I also used PicsArt for some creative shots.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Yes. Mostly aesthetic feed.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I believe that becoming an influencer is essential these days – it’s one of the many ways a person can either become successful or add to their existing success.

People don’t just become influencers – they have to attract, capture, and maintain their audience’s attention. They need to have certain skills/experiences to share with their community. Despite the stigma, influencers are not “talentless,” and often they are not even celebrities like Kendall Jenner or Kim Kardashian. As the name suggests, an influencer is someone who does just that – influences a group of people, no matter how big or small. For example, you can be a hip barista in a small town with 10k followers on Instagram. That number doesn’t seem like much, but your 10k followers genuinely love coffee, enjoy your content, and are located in your area. And this is wonderful for business. Your online presence brings in both new and existing customers who are willing to pay more than an average price for a cup of coffee from YOU, specifically.

I believe once the “hype” dies down, modern-day influencers will become entrepreneurs and scientists. They can share useful content that teaches and inspires, absolutely free of charge.

Thus, if you’ve decided to become an influencer, my advice for you is:

– Be yourself, don’t rely on a fake persona or image

– Don’t talk about anything you don’t understand

– Don’t lie to people

– Don’t be in it just for the money

True professionals in their field should become influencers to make our world better.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I am new here in Starnage so, I’m looking forward to working with a different brand here.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Being honest with your audience and yourself is important. It’ll be the catalyst to drive authentic loyalty.

When you’re transparent about who you are as a company, more people will see to it to understand what you stand for.

If your mission and vision get blurry, it could call for going back to your roots. This could mean thinking about the reasons why you started the business. It’s worth tracing back and fully understanding what this business means to you. To be re-inspired and to re-evaluate your mission and values is a good idea. Perhaps things have changed, and you need a new outlook.

Your brand pillars and mission are part of your brand story–make sure you are always communicating these two aspects honestly with your audience.

Focus on your why

Why does your business exist?

Does it exist to just make money? Although this is the short answer in most businesses, the answer should also include a brand story that people can resonate with.

For example, Warby Parker exists to alleviate the problem of impaired vision with their give a pair and buy a pair social impact. This is a way to build trust with the audience to showcase that they’re not just purchasing spectacles, they’re supporting the reason Warby Parker exists.

Knowing the reason for your business’s existence is the key to brand authenticity.

Be a trusted expert in your field

Your experience and knowledge are valuable assets to your audience.

When it comes to being authentic, having to share your progress and struggles is part of it. If your company has found specific ways that have gotten you far, tell people about it. You don’t need to dive into your business secrets, but it’s important to let people know how you got there.

It’s also a good idea to be consistent online to showcase your expertise.

Show signs of life online from your social media platforms, blogs to other parts of the online community. This not only helps with brand awareness, but it also shows that your company cares about their audience and customers.

Another way to achieve brand authenticity is to keep engaging with your audience. This could mean replying to comments, reviews and questions. People like it when they are looked after by brands that they support or are wanting to support.

When you are driving engagement online you are also showing up for those who are following you. You show up for your customers, your audience, and your community.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality content can build brand awareness.
It makes your content (and therefore your brand) appear everywhere your potential customers are looking for your product. To execute this strategy, write about topics your customers are interested in so they begin to associate your great content with your brand.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like partnering with brands because, by posting on social media, I help them promote their brands even if for sampling only. And I engage it with my audience. I also learn how to grow my audience.
