Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Ambika Vishnoi @Ambika_Vishnoi

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a literature graduate from Delhi University. Coming from a small city Uttar Pradesh I was always fascinated by fashion and performative arts. From being a center of attraction in school my leadership qualities have drived me to become an influencer and social media is just my beginning. Although coming to a new city was a tough task which broke my confidence and made me feel like an outsider. It was difficult to live an unacknowledged life. I struggled with my own absurdities and insecurities to gain back my confidence. My aim has yet not been achieved and there is a long long way to go. After I graduated this month with a degree in English hons. I have been hired by ITC Maurya as their guest relations executive. From being a topper throughout my school life scoring 94.75% in class twelfth to an active participant in social debates I strive to be at my best.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I majorly post about fashion and life inspirations. I aspire to bring a little change in people’s life by motivating them to fight there insecurities. I want to spread street fashion and self confidence amongst the people. I believe that if you have the confidence and faith you can take on the world and fight everything that comes you way.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name is my own name. I think nothing can be better to be as real as you. My name means strength and power and that is what I communicate. Ambika stands for power and so do I.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I do not like to over edit my pictures therefore I just use snapseed in order to fix the bad lighting, if required and instafit to fit my pictures in instagram.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My favourite Instagrammer….I like Kratika Khurana and apart from her I really look forward to the posts by Emilia Clarke. The game of thrones actress is one of my favourite people. Also I love to follow miss Malini. Her sense of fashion and critique is remarkably good.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think they all really need to try a #cleanindia initiative and get all there followers together to clean there near by areas. I think that is going to be very very cool.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favourite part about being an influencer is that you can voice your opinions and share your experiences with a large number of people.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

My tip to the brands? I they should effectively publicise there campaigns through maximum sources. The more the brands promote their campaign the more trust they gain in amongst the consumer. Also when they see their trustworthy influencers promoting a campaign, people easy put faith in the authenticity of the project.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

The quality originality of the content is very important to put forth a convincing argument. Your content reflects your opinion and how do you want the people to trust you if you can’t even be original and honest in your opinions. The quality matters in order to ensure effective communication. So that the idea or the required information is communicated to the audience in the exact manner as intended.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The best thing about working with brands is that you get to create interesting content for your followers and at the same time use your creativity for creating good advertisements.
