Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Amanda Westin @Mandiwestin

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am Amanda/Mandi , a 20 year old girl from Stockholm, Sweden. Right now I have taken on a leap year between high school and college. At this time I practise make up and hang out with my friends. I enjoy partying, makeup and fashion.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My favorite things to Instagram about is makeup, fashion and my everyday life. Makeup is my biggest passion and what I wanna do for a living. My life long dream is to become a makeup artist.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s my nickname my dad used to call me – Mandi, and my last name Westin.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

My favorite is Facetune when I’m on my phone. But when I’m on the computer I use photoshop and ipiccy.Com if I’m lazy.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My biggest inspiration is byBrookelle. She is so incredibly talented and beautiful. I also adore shaaanxo and Chloe morello. I aspire to be like those makeup girls one day.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Formula 10.0.6’s products! I’m obsessed!! The best skincare for young adults on the cheaper side. They have everything you need, toners, cleansers and face masks. It keeps my skin looking flawless and radiant everyday. A must for my Instagram followers!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Reaching out to people and making new friends. I love meeting new people. instagram is such a wonderful way to network in today’s society
I love being a part of that community and get to inspire and help people everyday.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Campaign to the right audience. Look for positive outgoing people to represent your brand who have followers that would go by your products. Take my followers for instance, they are young boys and girls interested in makeup and partying so I would be a perfect fit for a company who sells for example makeup.

Also get someone who is serious and loves doing the work. Passion will lead to success. It make us willing to put in some extra hours to make something perfect and the way you want it to be.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

My number one priority is always to be myself. It’s very important for me to believe in the products I sell or recomend on my Instagram page. I would never ever want to advertise something I haven’t try or like. I want my followers to be happy and pleased with everything they get.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Connecting with people. Making new friends and opportunities for us to help each other out.
