Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Alicia Cho @aliciacho

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello! I am from Singapore and am a stay home mum. I am currently taking up an acting course in the hope to become an actress.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post about parenting, my kids, and my lifestyle. I love beauty and exploring new places. I don’t like food coz I’m afraid of putting on weight! I eat to live not love to eat. Haha!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I literally use my own name @aliciacho so that it’s easier for people to find and remember me 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Makeup plus if I need to add colours to my face and Meitu app for adding borders, filters, text.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

@shiberty, @dreachong, @jaynetham, @jadeseah. I am inspired by all, I love to see their photos!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Try taking model like photos, you are only young once.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love to tell brand stories. Exploring new products, working with new brands 🙂

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Brands will need to check if the winner has created an Instagram account for the sake of contest. Many do that just to take part and win prizes but we want to award to the real active users. Also, a lot of instagrammers are buying followers which are fake, some brands are lazy to check, and will just pick the highest following but their engagement level is low. The high following just looks good on their account.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I support original and quality content! Those content which has more feelings portrayed inside wins.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I can be the 1st to try out something 🙂 or if it’s an event, I can be the 1st to be invited. Don’t have to squeeze with the crowd.
