Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Abril @Heyprilll

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a 20 year old girl who grew up in Texas and decided to spontaneously move to Los Angeles ever since I’ve been trying to figure life on my own but also enjoy life and not stress myself out. Also show my love for social media like my instagram and blog always keeping it up to date.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I usually post a lot of stuff that has to do with living in Los Angeles. Such as restaurants I visit or graffiti art different day activities to do such as hiking visiting different beaches. I usually also post pictures of me and pictures that have to do with my blog.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s actually my name April I was sitting down in the car and someone had said “HEYYYY APRIL” and they realized it sounded like they were saying “heyprilll” without the A

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

VSCO. I try to have a pattern like post a picture of me or friends and then a picture of something I did or saw and then a picture of me or friends again that way I post all sort of different images.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I think the main instagramers that call my attention and inspire me the most @ardenrose and @willdarbyshire. The color tones of the pictures they take and the way their profile looks so organized.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Relax and not worry so much about followers or the way their feed looks. Also not focus so much on comparing their life to different instagramers because we never know what their life really is like . Not everyday is filled with brunch or Disneyland visits.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I think my favorite part is being told that they love the way my images look and how beautiful my pictures look. Also the positivity I give to people by my captions.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I don’t think I’ve found my top tips to brands running campaigns besides telling them to only focus of big instagramers to also look at the ones with small followers. Because then it’s obvious they are just trying to use someone for their social media count.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

If you plan on going somewhere original content is a must you have to have something amazing and unique that makes you special so people don’t compare to others.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Being able to inform people about the brand in a honest way !
