I took this photo in Rome. This is the Roman Forum, a quite fascinating archeological site. In fact, it was for centuries the center of Roman public life, having most of the ancient government buildings in it. It has been called "the most celebrated meeting place in all history". The temple you can see in the picture is the Temple of Saturn; the pediment displays an inscription which means "The Senate and People of Rome have restored what fire consumed".
