__ 2 days ago I buried my little brother, it was the hardest day of my life. Nobody should ever experience this pain. Life is not fair. I’m so sorry this happen to you , Mike. To see my mother, your wife, your kids, our family go through this pain, nobody deserves this. You were a good man. I don’t know where I’m going from here but the journey we started from Assab, Eritrea, I will do my best to continue. I’ve been through a lot of shit in my life but this one just seems too much to bare. I can’t imagine life without you and what the days will look like. Mike, I wish you knew how proud I was of you, how much I admired you, how much you meant to me. Even in our worst days, if you or anyone called and said you were in trouble, I came running. But this time, I couldn’t run fast enough. It eats at me that I couldn’t protect you this time. I regret all of those years lost. As a big brother, I still wish I did more, forgave sooner, fix things between us faster but I’m grateful we did patch things up. I’m happy we had those last few years back together again. I just yearn for more time with you, more laughter, more business talks, even more debates. That time was snatched from me and it breaks my heart to know I won’t see that little smirk of yours anymore. I always had your back while here and I still got you. I hope I make you proud. I will always think of our struggle as kids, our good times, everything we built together. You definitely made your mark on this earth as an Eritrean, as a Father, as a Husband, as a Warrior.
