Happy Minimony Monday! Katie, the marketing manager at Balboa Bay Resort, and David met the first weekend of college at the University of Portland. Due to COVID, the couple postponed their wedding for over 100 people in the Seattle area where Katie grew up. However, they decided they still wanted to get married and not wait any longer! They planned for a beach wedding with a very small group. The couple always loved the idea of a beach wedding so they felt like they got the best of both worlds with two ceremonies, this one and the one postponed to 2021. They were able to celebrate with a few friends and Katie’s parents. Other family and friends joined in the celebration via zoom! Happy Minimony Monday! After four years together, Pierre and Jasmine got married on the 4th of July in a friend's garden in Marin. Amidst a global pandemic and uncertain times, their love was strong, and Pierre’s father had been moved into hospice after fighting cancer for 8 years. They knew they didn't have much longer with him and it was very important to them to have him there. It was also the perfect excuse to have a tiny wedding, which so happened to be Jasmine's dream. From idea to "I do's", they planned their dream day in just one month!  Due to current social distance requirements, they had their immediate family only as their guests. Being raised in Marin, the backyard of a gracious friend was the perfect venue! And on that perfect California summer day, they had an accordion play Life on Mars as they walked down the aisle and held their ceremony, performed by Pierre’s brother. During the ceremony, a mama deer and her spotted fawn joined to bless the day! It was the perfect fairytale day to celebrate their love.
