🌱POSITIVE ECO NEWS KLAXON🌱⁠ Goooood morning and happy sunday! Here's some positive eco news for you to start the day right!⁠ ⁠ The european parliament has passed a resolution to ban animal testing, and the vote was nearly unanimous at 667 to 4!⁠ ⁠ Now it's up to the European Commission to launch an action plan for ending animal experiments - we'll be watching!⁠ ⁠ 🐰💕

FAREWELL FESTIVAL SEASON Well folks somehow it’s nearing the end of September (how) and that means no more summer festivals for a while! We’re soooo excited for Halloween and holiday season and the exciting changes we’re announcing soon… but we had to say goodbye to festival season first. And obviously we did it with a bang! This collaboration with the amazing @euphoricthreads really hit the mark. We love working with other sustainable eco brands 🌱 Laura (founder, designer, textile queen) handmakes all pieces to order to avoid unnecessary waste, and the latest collections have been handmade using a game-changing material made from 100% recycled nylon yarn called ECONYL®. It’s sourced from nylon waste that would otherwise have ended up in oceans or landfill: fishing nets, old carpets, fabric waste etc. So you’re basically helping to clean the oceans every time you purchase from Laura – ummm INCREDIBLE! The Orca plant removes carbon from the air, mixes it with water, and pumps it underground where it can mineralize and reform into stone. ⁠ ⁠ How freakin' cool is that?! Science really...*ahem*... ROCKS.
