It's a lifestyle... not a trend !

4000...that's how many tablets I took in the space of 12 years ! And all that time, I was told not to exercise to avoid getting out of breath. I still remember having to say no to climbing, swimming, or any activity that would make me breathless. It affected me more than you could ever think ( me being a nature and movement lover). I felt I was trapped in a body that wasn't mine. I was also told not to worry about my diet because it had no effect on my condition. Meanwhile, my diet was very inflammatory, and I could often feel the mucus building up in my lungs. Imagine waking up every day gasping for air 😔 But here I am 15 years after I took my last tablet, fitter than ever, feeling on top of the world ( here in Madeira, on a hiking trip with my siblings), and more importantly, asthma-free !!! Every day, I get to move freely without worrying about my lungs. I book hiking trips in a heartbeat. And I make the best memories with my family. This is how you are unintentionally blocking your results! 1. You are not going all in. Don't get me wrong, going all in doesn't mean quitting your job to work on your health full time. It just means creating a healthy routine with non negotiables. Consistency before intensity. Half ass efforts will give you half ass results. 2. You are not taking a holistic approach to your health. You are taking your supplements, and you have changed your diet, but you still have not processed that anger towards your family that's been eating you up for the past 30 years. There is a clear link between trauma and immunity. 3. You let other people or social events dictate what you do and do not do for your health. Weddings or birthday parties will always be there. But they shouldn't be a reason to throw all your healthy habits out the window. 4. You are not investing in yourself. You could spend the next 12 months acquiring new knowledge from Facebook groups, Reddit, YouTube, Netflix, etc...and still be exactly where you are today if you don't have a clear and custom plan of what needs to be done ( which is something practitioners like myself can help with btw). You could literally collapse time by working with a practitioner. 5. You are not patient enough. You change your supplement routine every other day. You try a new diet every other week or give up every other month. While it shouldn't take you more than a couple of weeks to see results when you work with a practitioner, remember it took you years/decades to get to where you are, so you can't really expect results overnight. Focus on daily habits, and the results will follow. Tough love, I know. But it is because I love you, and I want you to know that you could be a totally different person in 6 months from now. Just here to remind you that... Every day you get to decide if you're gonna make a step that's gonna turn your health around or wait for the perfect time to do it. I've always been a huge fan of natural alternatives to medication. Berberine helps to restore insulin sensitivity so it's not only useful in the case of Type 2 Diabetes but also in the case of high cholesterol, high blood pressure and PCOS. It also happens to be a natural antimicrobial so it might help with dysbiosis. Now, the thing is Berberine is not gonna solve all your problems.
