Who doesn't love a picnic? 🌞 This sunny Saturday, we're admiring paintings by Cat Gerke, who captures the joy of sharing food, laughter, and sun-soaked afternoons with loved ones! Gingham tablecloths, fancy food, and popped Champagne tell a story of good times, and each artwork stirs up memories of cherished moments and places 🧺 🍇 Based in the Northern Rivers region of Australia, Gerke paints her contemporary still lifes inspired by the wealth of incredible produce found in the local area. All of the artworks in Koestler Arts' exhibition at the fair were created by artists in the criminal justice system and ex-prisoners on their mentoring programme, with some of the money raised going directly to the artists. 🫶🏻✨ The team at Koestler Arts said: “We knew this would be a great opportunity to showcase artwork from across the UK’s criminal justice system to a whole new audience.
