Another osprey from a few days ago. We had a lot of activity for a few days but it’s since slowed down.

The young eagles on our area have been a bit shy but I finally got a few photos of one flying and diving 🐟 🦅

“It’s Time to Let Go” Another ai experiment. This time I used ai to generate an idea (second picture) I had so @tonynorthrup could see what I was imagining and collaborate by taking an actual photo. I was inspired by the dying flowers on my counter. I always have a difficult time throwing them away and acknowledging that something once-pleasant has run it’s course. So many times we keep things/jobs/relationships /ideas because of our past experiences with them and not how they actually relate to us in the moment.

Sometimes I take photos of gulls for practice but sometimes I take photos of gulls because I imagine they see me excitedly pointing my camera at eagles and osprey and I don’t want them to feel left out. You’re a good bird, too, gulls! Look at that very dead and rotting fish! Good job! Someone had to do it and it was you!

This little King Fisher flew by me while we were shooting a video. I had my settings dialed in for fast action just in case a lucky moment came my way. She flew by once, spotted us, and took off for the other side of the estuary to avoid us (story of my life) but I managed to get a few photos before she ghosted us.
