Showing you the process of me creating my coffee journal! This process requires patience and love. It starts out with a series of simple lines. An idea. And as I keep going, shapes and dimensions come together, and it just… comes to life. ⠀ Coffee is like that to me too. In many ways, it shares the same creative thought processes as my embroidery. It starts slow, the process of it coming together in a capsule takes time and care and effort. But then all at once, just at the touch of a button… pure bliss with the sight, smells, and taste of fresh coffee. An unforgettable Coffee Journal to note down all my favourite recipes with @nespresso.my. In collaboration with @discoverhongkong, I want share this embroidery art piece of mine, that was inspired by the iconic neon signs of Hong Kong. ⠀ Neon signs were first used by businesses in Hong Kong to draw people’s attention to their shops in order to promote their businesses. Since then, neon has become an integral part of Hong Kong’s culture. ⠀ To me, neon signs are such a unique form of visual art.
