I was hired on after completion, and stayed for 13 years!”⁠ ⁠ North Shore Food and Beverage just opened its newest restaurant @tapsandtaco in April 2021.⁠ “We offer a daily taco and quesadilla feature that allows us to use our creativity and give the guest something new to try.”⁠ ⁠ What gets you excited to go to work every day?⁠ “The opportunity to work with a team that is eager to learn, and to teach them what I have learned over the course of my career, just as I did working my way up in the business.”⁠ ⁠ Fun fact!⁠ “Growing up I would always help my grandmother and mother with holiday baking. In doing that I always wanted to be a pastry chef growing up. However, after being introduced to the pastry element, it was quickly realized that it would be completely different than working in grandma or mom’s kitchens.”⁠ ⁠ What struggles are you going through right now?⁠ “A ton of offices are empty Downtown, and that hurts our lunch business. We are so very thankful for all of the events that happen on the North Shore!”⁠ ⁠ “Having the opportunity to be the executive chef of 3 restaurants on the North Shore has definitely been a blessing. Also, being able to work closely with the Pirates is an awesome experience.
