Had such a fantastic time at Seashells over the weekend. This was the light at the end of the day. Moments later the sun came out to show off and then slipped from view. We spent Sunday cycling the 19 mile round trip along the cycle paths to the @thepilotdungeness for lunch. The power station emerging from the sea mist looked pretty impressive. As did the fields of rape, the kite surfers, the windmills and islands in the nature reserve lakes, covered in sea birds. You see so much cycling. Going to put some of the views from the journey up in stories. The house is filling up now for the rest of Spring but do write if you want to stay and we’ll squeeze you in if we can. The moment we arrived at this silvery skied expanse of sand and steel tidal pools just felt fantastic. Reminded us that even the shortest stays are worthwhile.
