Hello friends! I’ve taken a step back from the podcast as I was getting pretty overwhelmed with having so much on my plate. I’ve never exactly been consistent but this has been my longest break by far. HOWEVER, we are coming back baby! Lots of you have asked and I know the podcast is where we get to connect the most. This has been a long time coming and I’m so excited to finally be putting the podcast on YouTube as well. Meet @earthtogiddi on this weeks episode ❤️ She was one of the first people (women specifically) that I looked up to in the van space. She traveled in a Sprinter with her husband (and then daughter) for years before “van life” turned into what it is today. She also opened up about mental health in ways that I had never seen. I reached out to her in a moment when I didn’t have many others to talk to about my anxiety. She was so helpful, kind and inspired me to later open up in all the ways that I now have. I went to grab these photos from @candyss.love page for this post and honestly it is comical how beautiful she is 😂😭 I don’t understand. BUT our episode is finally out where I get to sit down with her and talk all about her experience on the road. She was in the military + the police force before van life. While very proud of her past, she left because it no longer felt like it was what she had originally hoped it would be. Now she’s on the road with her pup, Cleo who keeps her company in all the places she explores. This was one of my favorite episodes to record and it was an honor sitting down to hear her story.
