There are so many animal cafes in Japan and we embarked on a whimsical adventure at this one-of-a-kind haven, and boy, were we (or maybe I )blown away! As a self-proclaimed animal lover, I couldn't contain my excitement, especially knowing that such a unique experience didn't exist back home in Singapore. Upon entering, we were greeted by the sight of these adorable micro pigs. 😍 At first, we were slightly overwhelmed by their size, but any hesitations quickly dissipated as we discovered their incredibly friendly and affectionate nature. These precious little piggies were not just content with their cozy surroundings; they sought out our laps for cuddles and affection. It was heartwarming to see how they playfully competed amongst themselves, vying for a prime spot on our laps. Each piggy brought its own unique personality to the table, making the experience all the more unforgettable. 🐽 Is there a smell at the cafe? 🐽 Answer: Very slight. On a scale of 1 to 10, we would rate it a 1-2. The cafe is well-maintained, and the staff ensures cleanliness, keeping any potential odors at bay. 🐷 Will the pigs poop on you? 🐷 The pigs may drool but they are potty trained, so the chances of them defecating on you are extremely rare. After receiving so many questions about Universal Studio Japan (USJ), I wanted to share my personal experience with you all. So, if you're planning a visit, here are some helpful tips and highlights based on my recent trip! 1️⃣ Timing is everything! Weekdays are usually less crowded compared to weekends, so try to plan your visit accordingly. Unfortunately, I went on a busy day and arrived at 11am, which made it challenging to experience all the rides. 2️⃣ Express Pass for the win! To make the most of your day, I highly recommend purchasing the express pass. Trust me, it's a godsend! With the pass, you can breeze through the hour-long queues in less than 10 minutes, saving you precious time to enjoy other attractions. 3️⃣ Minion Mayhem for the win! If you have kids who aren't into thrilling rides, this one is perfect. Personally, it was my favorite too! For child-friendly adventures, don't miss out on Mario Karts and Yoshi Adventure. 4️⃣ Prepare for an epic 4K3D experience! The Spider-Man 4K3D ride is similar to our beloved Transformers ride at USS. 5️⃣ Junior rides for the little ones! The Snoopy, Elmo, and Hello Kitty sections offer junior rides designed for very young children. It's a great opportunity for the little ones to have their own magical experiences. 6️⃣ Buckle up for the Forbidden Journey! If you're a fan of Harry Potter, make sure to try the Forbidden Journey. However, be prepared that it can be a bit dizzying or even mildly nauseating. 7️⃣ Super Mario World exclusive entry! The Super Mario World area is incredibly popular, and you'll need an area time entry to enjoy it fully. If you don't have an express pass, be sure to get the entry early through the USJ app to secure your spot. Oh, and one more thing! While exploring USJ, you might come across the Mario Band Strap, which costs approximately 4300 yen. It's a special accessory that adds to the experience, just like the hats, hair bands, and earrings available. My girls were really into it, but keep in mind that it's optional and comes at an additional cost. Be prepared for queues at USJ eateries. We took a queue, went for a ride, and returned just in time for our turn.
